I am a TV producer, author, and screenwriter. I have an MFA in creative writing from the University of Memphis, and a BA in communications from Mount Union College, I have over thirty years' experience writing and teaching. I have worked as a music industry publicist, and as a college English professor at Tennessee State University, Nashville State Community College, and Aquinas College. I've also been a writer/producer for the Christian Broadcasting Network. I've written or edited five books, over 300 articles in the area of arts and entertainment, including The Washington Post, Country Weekly, Southern Cultures, Script Magazine, Bluegrass Unlimited, and dozens of others. I have also written six screenplays, produced two documentaries, and over 150 TV segments.
